What's it about?
It's a musical -- does the plot really matter?

OK, OK, follow a young intern as she adjusts to life working for a Senator in Washington DC after moving from Iowa.

Her mission? Stop the new Death Tax from becoming law while keeping her struggling theatre company from being evicted from their office in the basement of a funeral home.

Along the way she tangles with the Senator's wife, is chased by a man carrying a ukulele case, and has to deal with an actor who can only speak in rhyme.

Oh, and she just might find love before the final curtain.

We did say it's an old-fashioned musical, didn't we?

Who are we?
AC Petersen (book and lyrics) and Garrett Fisher (music) team up again after critically successful movement / music / contemporary opera performances over the years in Seattle and beyond, including:

Join us as we venture into the world of linear and plot-driven musical comedy.
The title might not sound very amusing, but in this day and age, you've gotta find tunes and laughs when and where you can.
